Droniada Challenge 2026

Droniada Challenge 2026 is one of Europe’s most established academic competitions in unmanned aerial systems. It takes place in June 2026 at Gliwice Airport in Poland.

For over 12 years, Droniada has evolved as a Polish national initiative, bringing together universities, research centres, public institutions and industry actors to advance the use of unmanned and autonomous systems. The competition has served as a testing ground for UAV technologies, enabling academic teams to design and validate solutions in realistic mission scenarios, including infrastructure inspection, remote sensing, logistics and emergency response.

In 2026, the European Defence Agency became an honorary partner of Droniada Challange 2026 and the event is opening up towards international teams.
