Following a recommendation by Catherine Ashton, Head of the European Defence Agency, the Steering Board unanimously decided to extend the mandate of Claude-France Arnould as Chief Executive for one year until 15 January 2015. Madame Arnould took up this position at the EDA in January 2011 for an initial mandate of three years.
