EDA Materiel Standardisation Conference 2014

The development of defence standards has both a positive economic effect to reduce costs and contribute through a harmonised approach to the interoperability of Member States’ forces.

For the preparation of a roadmap for the development of defence standards as mandated by the European Council in December 2013, EDA is organising a Materiel Standardisation Conference on 12 March 2014. 

The conference will be attended among others by the main standardisation stakeholders with speakers of the European Commission, the European Standardisation Organisations (ESO), NATO, ASD-STAN and EUROCAE. 

Stakeholders interested in participating are invited to send a message to cps(a)eda.europa.eu no later than 28 February. Registration is limited and access to the conference is upon confirmation only.
