On 21 February 2013, the Minister of Defence of Slovenia, Mr Aleš Hojs, and the Minister of Defence of Luxembourg, Mr Jean-Marie Halsdorf, visited the EDA for discussions with the Chief Executive Mme Claude-France Arnould.
In their respective meetings, the Ministers and the Chief Executive exchanged views on defence issues in preparation for the meeting of the European Council in December 2013. They also explored opportunities to support national capability requirements through European cooperation, including in research & technology and in the development of the European defence technological and industrial base, in particular through support to Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).
