The European Defence Agency (EDA) and the European Commission (EC) jointly organise and chair a workshop to present the achievements under the established European Framework Cooperation (EFC) in the area of Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) protection research.
The workshop, held on 13 March as a side event of the Security Conference at HOMSEC 2013 in Madrid, will feature speakers from different projects under EDA’s Joint Investment Programme (JIP) CBRN and the EC’s FP7 Security Research Programme. The presentations will focus on showing progress and the possibilities of exchange of results among the frameworks. Current challenges and future European perspectives on civil-military research synergies will also be discussed.
