Defence Test and Evaluation Base
Photoxpress The European Defence Test & Evaluation Base (DTEB) consists of all EDA pMS government funded Test & Evaluation (T&E) Capabilities.
The DTEB Plenary Group is established by the EDA Steering Board to advise and assist in developing and maintaining the DTEB. The Plenary Group is open to representatives from all EDA participating Member States (pMS). It is chaired by the EDA Armaments Directorate.
The DTEB aims to provide, in a cooperative way, the capability for European nations to undertake Test & Evaluation (T&E) activities in support of security and defence systems through their life cycle. This is seen as an important element of the European Armaments Cooperation Strategy.

Networks of Experts
The creation of networks of experts in certain technical areas is one way of cooperation. The
ENTER (European Network on Electromagnetic Effects T&E Capabilities Rationalization) Cat B project is one example of such a network. Here you may also find a short
description of Electromagnetic Effects.
