The European Defence Research Centres Portal (EDRC) was launched on 22 June 2011 during the Steering Board meeting in Research & Technology Directors’ formation.
The initiative follows on from the 2008 Franco-German proposal for a joint promotion of national Defence Research Centres and leveraging of the knowledge of research competences in Europe.
EDRC consists of a database pooling information to promote cooperation and technological expertise of Defence Research in the European Union. European Defence Research involves several stakeholders throughout Europe with public and private institutes, academia and industry among those recognised as research providers.
Please note that access to EDRC is protected and requires pre-agreement. Research providers wishing to participate in EDA R&T activities are invited to register at no cost and are encouraged to make their competences available to the EDRC database. Subscribers to the EDRC Portal will always be updated on launched procurements and events promoted by EDA.
