Sixth and final MIDCAS Workshop

  • 08 September 2015 to 09 September 2015
  • 07:30 - 12:00

The MIDCAS project is a major European initiative to progress towards integration of RPAS in non-segregated airspace. Funded by France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Sweden, under the management of the European Defence Agency, MIDCAS addresses the key issue of Traffic Encounter and Mid-air Collision Avoidance Function.

Since 2010, five MIDCAS workshops were organised providing opportunity for valuable discussions and exchange of information about the project design, operational capabilities, safety, performance and interoperability requirements. Previous workshop, 5 February 2014 in Brussels, included initial findings and first results from simulation and flight tests.

This final workshop will provide a summary of the project, findings from the simulations and the test flights performed during the final steps of the study, and updated results regarding CONOPS and technical recommendations.

This workshop will be open to all stakeholders and, if you are not available for that event or if you consider that additional support will be needed, please feel free to relay the invitation to other experts in your organisation; the only limitation will come from the maximum number of seats in the meeting room.

This workshop is kindly hosted by EUROCONTROL in its Brussels headquarters. Please refer to the EUROCONTROL website for access details.

Registration is now open, please inform right now the MIDCAS consortium about your intent to participate – Answer at alain.vallee@sagem.com.
