EDA’S ELECTRONIC BULLETIN BOARD (EBB) ON DEFENCE CONTRACT OPPORTUNITIES
The European Defence Agency (EDA) operates and maintains the ‘Electronic Bulletin Board on Defence Contract Opportunities (EBB)’ website to enhance public access to information about defence procurement contract opportunities of a) the subscribing Member States (sMS) to the Code of Conduct on Defence Procurement and b) the defence related industry having a technological and / or Industrial base in a sMS to the Code of best Practices in the Supply Chain (CoBPSC).
The following terms and conditions (as revised from time to time by EDA at its discretion) shall apply in case of access to and/or use of this website.
General Definitions
1. The ‘government contract opportunities’ Service (GCO)
The GCO service provides
online access to Governmental public procurement notices under the Code of Conduct
on Defence Procurement (CoC).
2. The ‘industry contract opportunities’ Service (iCo)
The ISO service provides online access
to defence related Industry Contract notices under the Code of Best Practices
in the Supply Chain (CoBPSC)
Information “As
Is”
The information made available on
this website has been filled in either by the sMS or the defence industry and/or
provided by them to the EDA.
The EDA cannot guarantee
that the information available on this website exactly reproduces the official information
as adopted and published in the relevant sMS. Only the latter information has legal
force.
Furthermore, the information
published on the site regarding Government Contract and / or Industry Contract Notices is considered
as a summary of a requirement and is supplied without legal liability to EDA or
to the Contracting Authority.
The requirement
published by the Contracting Authority at the address/link shown in the Government Contract / Industry Contract Notice is to be considered as the authoritative publication and not
this Contract Notice.
Our goal is to keep this
information timely and accurate provided the sMS or defence industry concerned has informed EDA correctly
and on time. If errors are brought to our attention, EDA will inform the sMS or defence industry concerned
to correct them if appropriate. As this website is for
information purpose only, the EDA does not intervene in the procurement procedures
themselves which are the sole responsibility of the contracting authorities within
the respective sMS or defence industry. Requests for further information and for participation in the
procedures must be addressed directly to the contracting authorities indicated in
the notices and not to the EDA.
Possible Disruption
of Services
It is our goal to minimize
disruption caused by technical errors. However we cannot guarantee that our service
will not be interrupted or otherwise affected by technical problems and for maintenance.
The EDA accepts no responsibility with regard to problems incurred as a result of
using this site or any linked external sites or as a result of this site being temporarily
not accessible.
To prevent disruptions
in service to our normal users from bulk downloads of EBB’s data, EDA reserves the
right to check for, and block, attempts to download excessive quantities of documents,
particularly using automated or robot-like tools.

The EDA EBB on Defence Contract Opportunities site includes information which has
been supplied by the sMS authorities, and/or by companies or organisations that
have been duly registered to the system (the "Information Suppliers"). All title
and intellectual property rights, including, but not limited to, trademarks, copyrights

the Information Suppliers, and are protected by the applicable laws.

Visitors should seek further clarification from the Contracting Authorities concerned
before relying on the information contained therein, as EDA cannot accept responsibility
for any consequences that may arise if Users/ Visitors fail to do this. The User/Visitor

1. What personal information do we collect, for what purpose
and through which technical means?
When using the user personalization
tool of EBB, named “My EBB”, we collect the following information: User-name and E-Mail.
The main purpose of keeping
the information is to allow the user to save and reuse queries, alerts and clipping
list.
2. Who has access to your information and to who is it
disclosed?
Only the EBB Management
Team has access to the information. It is not disclosed outside the EDA.
3. How can you verify, modify
or delete your information?
Information
cannot be deleted nor modified. If change is needed, you have to set a new profile through
the “My EBB” facility.
4. How do we treat e-mails you send us?
The EBB
has a "Contact us" button, which activates your e-mail software and invites you
to send your comments to a specific functional mailbox.
When you
send such a message, your personal data is collected only to the extent necessary
to reply. If the management team of the mailbox is unable to answer your question,
it will forward your e-mail to another service. You will be informed, via e-mail,
about which service your question has been forwarded to.
If you
have any questions about the processing of your e-mail and related personal data,
do not hesitate to include them in your message.
