Project Management

Composition and Tasks

The Project is managed by the Project Arrangement Management Group (PAMG) chaired by the Lead nation, and supported by an EDA Project Officer without voting rights.

The exact responsibilities of the Project Arrangement Management Group are described in the Project Arrangement and generally include:

  • the steering and monitoring of the Project
  • the assessment and approval of the deliverables
  • the acceptance of the initial contract and of any amendment
  • the preparation of potential amendments to the Project Arrangement.

Functioning

The PAMG and the EDA Project Officer meet every six months with the Industrial Consortium to review the progress of the different milestones. The Project Arrangement usually foresees that decisions of the PAMG are reached by unanimity, but other options are possible.

Milestone approval is communicated in writing by  the PAMG chairman on behalf of the other members, or by each member individually. In practice, a clear e-mail to the EDA Contract Administrator and to the EDA Project Officer is sufficient.
