For every Project, the responsible CapTech moderator in charge creates a specific Extranet Forum, which can only be accessed by government and industry representatives contributing directly to the project. This Forum typically contains:
- the contract and its amendments
- the deliverables, and comments to these deliverables
- the minutes of preparation and progress meetings
- contact information etc
A Forum restricted to government representatives is often also created and used for:
- the preparation of the Project Arrangement
- discussion on the acceptance of the deliverables.
Use
Extranet Forums are EDA's main tools of collaboration, allowing the maintainance of a good level of interaction between meetings. They are not only used for Projects, but also for the CapTechs and other EDA working groups.
Only unclassified information shall be published on the Forum. Note that it is possible to publish “EU RESTRICTED - RESTREINT UE” documents by using approved encryption softwares such as Chiasmus.
Registration and Access
The CapTech moderator invites government and industry representatives to register on the Extranet Forums and grant them the necessary permissions. Registration is requested trough the EDA website.
