The Activity Database is EDA’s tool used for the high-level monitoring of progress made by different EDA activities. The objective is to summarise the necessary information into a single location. In particular, all R&T Projects and Studies have entries in the Activity Database.
The CapTech Moderator in charge of a specific Project shall create the corresponding entry in the EDA Activity Database, and shall grant the necessary access rights.
Use
The Activity Database is used at different stages of the Project lifecycle:
- Project Proposals are entered into the Activity Database to disseminate information beyond CapTech members.
- The administrative preparation of Project Candidates is monitored by the R&T Project Trackers using the Activity Database. In particular, contributing Members' Ready to Sign and acceptance of the Outline Description are recorded.
- When the Project starts, the Activity Database provides a useful timeline to monitor Project Milestones.
- When the Project finishes, the Activity Database may be used as a repository of electronic deliverables.
Access
Access to the Activity Database is granted by invitation only.
